FANTASYPOLY

The 4th grade students have also worked on the project with our partner school in Manchester, exchanging material prepared by ourselves.
What we have carried out this year has been the development of a well-known board game, the "Monopoly", but we have adapted it to the place where we live, Cantabria, and to the Project of our school, "The Imaginary World". As a result we have our "Fantasypoly".
Our teachers have made the board by taking the drawings that we have coloured.
The cards are also made with the drawings that we have coloured in advanced.
Throughout several weeks of work we have been divided into four groups, and each of them worked on one aspect of the "Fantasypoly".
1.- Colouring the drawings that appear on the cards and on the board.
2.- Preparing instructions to play.
3.- Summarising and translating the texts that refer to Cantabrian mythological beings and to the stories that appear on the board and on the cards.
4.- Elaborating the "Community Chest" and "Chance" cards, choosing what we wanted to appear in them and translating the content.
Once we have finished with all this work, we can play our "Fantasypoly".
Here we leave some photos of the material we have been preparing, ready to play with it.
